Do you have an autograph book?

[autograph book: Book containing autographs of famous or not-so-famous people, typically collected by an individual.]

In my case, I am referring to a book containing autographs of not-so-famous, but has a place in my heart people.

OK. I am showing you my current most matured autograph book (argh! forget about those kiddie books where friends write the same poems in almost every single page!)

It was a thick book. And it went thicker each day. Now, it is still a thick book.

I passed around this autograph book when I was in Form Five. Then, it was circulated to my classmates and some other friends in other classes, in other schools. When I was in Upper Six, I passed this same book to my classmates, and also other friends in other classes, this time, in the same school. It went thicker (look pic below):

It’s thick. No?

Some took care of it. Some treated it like a History text book (aahh.. you should know the reason!). Then, my book became like this (look below):

Koyak-rabak!

Some not-so-famous people, but who has a place in my heart jotted some wonderful memories in the book. For examples:

My Interact Club teacher advisor in Methodist Girls’ School (M.G.S.)

A rival-turned-close friend in M.G.S.

And someone who paints well from my Upper Six school.

I was asking my Mum whether I should ask my University friends to write in the same book (because it has a few remaining pages and I thought it would be great if they could fill up those pages), but she said it would be inappropriate as we are no longer school-going-children and that others would thought I am suffering from ‘Down Syndrome’. Hmmmp!

Thus, I took the decision not to pass this book to my coursemates, but that doesn’t mean I am not taking any initiatives to keep in touch with them. Aiyo.. got Internet mar! *whoot* That’s what I learned from Communication Techology.

*ouch*

So, what about you? Do you have an autograph book?
