21 days to graduation, and I still have a lot to blog about my University life. Please proceed to continue reading, otherwise, skip the following paragraphs and move on with the pictures (=

My first class trip was to the City of Entertainment. You have probably read about it here. This time round, I will be posting my second class trip to the National Museum, the Planetarium and the KL Bird Park.

We had seven people in out first trip, and then in our second trip, the number of individuals went down to five. It was a little disappointing at first, but come to think of it, I am glad to only five of us went! Ha! Otherwise, LS would have hired a bus! Ha! Ha!

After much planning, LS, QY, SJ, SY and I visited the National Museum. We took the train to the KL Sentral, and then from there, we took the taxi to the National Museum.

The entrance fee to the museum was RM2 (for students) and we were very lucky because we were there during the “International Museum Week” They had lots of activities for visitors and one of it was the maze at the main hall. Each participant would have to complete a few tasks in order to get a souvenir. And of course we did, and we all got a badge (= I must say we had a lot of fun in the museum, taking photographs and learning new things (or should I say.. recall our history??)

Our next destination was to the Planetarium, which was situated right opposite the National Museum. I could not remember the entrance fee and I don’t think it was that expensive because if it was, we wouldn’t have entered. It was something like a museum too, just that the display items in it were mostly about space. ‘Planetarium’- what else do you expect? Ha!

Initially, our plan was to go to the National Monument. None of us were sure of the location, thus we followed the road signs. We walked the walk and talked the talk, but still we couldn’t get to the destination. And guess what? We ended up at the KL Bird Park! Ha! It was also known as “The World’s Largest Walk-in Free Flight Aviary”.

We did not visit the bird park because it was not in our plan. Another factor was the entrance fee was a little too expensive for students. RM 15. And what? Just to see birds? Ha! Anyhow, we just took a few pictures at the entrance and we headed home.

What a fun day! *teeheehee*
