Birthday party @ Black Canyon Restaurant

March 14th 2008 by pelfy in Glorious Food, Life Of A Journalist-To-Be

Last year, we celebrated QY and CY’s birthday separately, but this year we planned to have a joint party for them in order to cut cost, that’s one. Two, we thought it would be better for us to have only one party because their birthdays are just about a week apart.

Instead of celebrating it at normal food outlets such as New Paris Restaurant, Secret Recipe, or Yuan Streamboat Restaurant, Yen, the organiser chose Black Canyon Restaurant. It is located at the Centre Point, near One Utama shopping mall.

Food & Drinks
Two words to describe the food at Black Canyon: Simply delicious. I wouldn’t say the Chicken Spaghetti Tom Yam was extremely spicy because QY, LS and I managed to finish the whole bowl of tom yam soup, except CM and YC. As for Yen’s American Fried Rice, I love the fried chicken most.

Desserts
Oh desserts…!! Black Canyon Restaurant offers a wide range of desserts and these are some of the desserts my friends ordered. By just looking at the pictures, I know the butterflies in my stomach are craving for them. Ha! Photobucket

Price
I would say the price for food and beverages at Black Canyon Restaurant are affordable. Lunch promotion is RM 12.90 - a bowl of Chicken Spaghetti Tom Yam and a glass of Iced Lemon Tea. Not bad, huh?

All in all, we had a great time at the restaurant, but I don’t think we’ll be going there again so soon because it’s just too far from our place. Hohoh.. (=

The prices are cheaper than in Singapore. I enjoy Black Canyon’s food, I always visit it when I’m in Bangkok. I seldom visit the one in Singapore and it’s 15 mins walk from my house. haha….
