Wikipedia.org stated that the word clog can be “a type of shoe or sandal made predominantly out of wood.”
Presenting you the Malaysian traditional clogs wooden shoes:

We seldom see people wear clogs these days, but some Malaccans wear modernised clogs (with beads).

Those are colorful as compared to the traditional plain red ones. I’ll go buy a pair for display purposes the next trip to Malacca

What a nice selection of beautiful wooden shoes. However, I am glad that I do not wear shoes. It saves on clothing bills…

aaa yes….i do wonder how ppl can walk properly in those. i tried to but it could easily make me trip! all the ah pek n ah ma’s n the mee taukay seem to walk very comfortably in it though….bizarre

Love those clogs. The ones here in the Philippines used to just be plain brown color. When someone wears it, you know she is coming when you hear the click-clacking sound

I saw the wooden clogs in Malacca but didn’t have time to stop and buy.
