Pelfy’s Journey Of Love

It has been a long time since we had any formal gatherings like this. The previous birthday celebration was CK and CM’s at Wong Kok and the last time we gathered for food was our class’s Christmas party.

Anyway, today we hopped over to T.G.I’s Friday’s for SJing, PPei and WTing’s birthday celebration. The idea of celebrating it at The Curve did not just popped out from PP’s mind, instead in my opinion, it came about after much pressure from the group. Previously, most of the parties were planned by dear friends but this year, we decided that the birthday girl/boy decides where to go.

The 14 (11 girls and 3 boys) headed to our destination after class. The weather was good, there was no jam throughout our journey and most importantly, everyone was very excited.

No doubt, most of us had difficulties picking our favourite food because every images printed on the menu was so tempting. QYi and I agreed to share the three-course-meal (Fried Calamari, Tort White Fish, and Friday’s Sundae), a pasta (Shrimp Diablo) and a drink (the first reason we shared was because we could not finish the big portion of the three-course-meal. The second reason we shared the bicarbonate drink was because, hey! they can be refilled! And the third reason was, we really need to cut our cost!) Hohoho……

Also sharing a meal was:
a) CKiat-LShie-SHuea. They had Pineapple Moji Fish, Chili Garlic Shrimp pasta, Mac N Cheese and Friday’s Sundae.
b) YNee-CYun. They had Buff Wings, Pineapple Moji Fish and Friday’s Sundae.

The big-stomachs were JBin and SYen. They ordered a three-course-meal and had it all by themselves. JBin had Slizzing Chicken, Buff Wings and Friday’s Sundae whereas SYen had Smoothened Steak, Mac N Cheese, Friday’s Sundae and Esprite Lemon.

Small eaters were YChang and CMing. YChang had Toss Tomato Basil pasta and vanilla shake while CMing had Shrimp Diablo and Iced Lemon Tea.

PPei had Shrimp Diablo pasta and pineapple sunshine while WTing had Iced Lemon Tea and Fett Alfredo. SJing ordered a three course meal and she had Smoothened Steak, Shrimp Martini and Ice-cream cookies.

Dessert and drinks

All food were incredibly delicious and I personally love the ‘Mac N Cheese’ because the moment you bite on it, you’ll love the melted cheese inside. Yummm…

We had lots of fun. We talked loudly and even laughed louder before, during and after eating. We took lots of photographs as if it was a farewell party. The interior design of T.G.I. Friday’s gave us a classic feeling as most of the walls were decorated with guitars, pictures and antique radios. We also had crazy pictures inside and outside of the restaurant.

Right after we settled the bill, we went over to The Curve (for a walk!) Yes, we were that full! The simple CNY decorations are done, thus we continued our photography sessions. We also had an opportunity to meet up with Project Superstar male contestants. I am not commenting anything here or I will be sued for fair comment (Section 9 in the Federal Constitution). (=
