Below are pictures of the largest and deepest mining pool (in Sungai Lembing, Pahang) in the world. It was once operated by the Pahang Consolidated Company Limited (PCCL) from 1906 - 1986.

    I’ve been to Pahang, in Kuala Lipis, years ago. We went jungle trekking and it was so beautiful there!

    I wonder what happened to PCCL after it closed? Did it get registered to a new company. I remember my aunt purchasing shares of PCCL only to see it get burnt.
